A private day to the Cliffs of Moher

The published Cliffs day is long: thirteen to fourteen hours from Dublin. It is a private car, not a coach seat. IrishDriven includes the chauffeur and, on this package, the entrance fees.

The morning is the drive west, with a collection around seven. Late morning is the cliffs themselves, 214 metres above the Atlantic, with time for O’Brien’s Tower and the visitor experience. Lunch in Doolin or Liscannor is optional. IrishDriven mentions Gus O’Connor’s and Vaughan’s Anchor Inn if you want a table rather than a sandwich in the car.

After lunch the day stops briefly at Dunguaire Castle, then gives you about an hour and a half in Galway: the Spanish Arch, Quay Street, the cathedral if you want it. The drive back to Dublin starts mid-afternoon.
